Privacy Policy

Account information (email, name), content you upload (PDFs and the text extracted from them), generated outputs, and payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers). We also collect basic technical/usage data needed to operate the service.

To provide the service (extract text, generate questions/guides/flashcards), process payments, send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, expiry and storage warnings), and maintain security and reliability.

Uploaded text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your study outputs. We use a dedicated processing account for EdAI Express.

Free-tier uploads and their generated content are automatically deleted 24 hours after upload. Paid-tier content is retained while your subscription is active, subject to storage limits. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

We share data only with service providers needed to run the product (e.g., Google Firebase for hosting/storage, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI processing, Resend for email, and Sentry for error monitoring). Our error monitoring is configured not to send personal information by default, and session replay is limited to public marketing pages with text and media masking. We do not sell personal data.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no system is perfectly secure. Access to content is restricted to your authenticated account.
